What fees does Captin charge for maintaining a trading account?

  • This first 24 months after listing, no fees will be charged for maintaining a trading account.
  • For 24 months after listing, we will charge EUR4.50 per month. These fees will be charged annually. We may charge Institutional Investors different fees.

 

What fees does Captin charge for buy/sell orders?

Captin charges fixed and a variable transaction fees for each buy and sell order. These fees are listed below.

Transaction fees

  • Standard fee: EUR5.00 per executed buy and sell order 
  • Execution fee: 0.30% per executed buy or sell order, calculated on the executed order size multiplied by the transaction price
  • In exceptional situations (and at additional costs), it is possible to place your orders by telephone
  • Orders expire after 10 days

 

What fees does Captin charge if an order is only partially executed?

It may happen that an order is executed in part only. If this happens, Captin will charge the Execution Fee once for each partial execution. The Standard Fee will only be charged once in full. Captin will charge the Standard Fee on the first partial execution. For the following partial executions, Captin will not charge the Standard Fee.

 

What fees does Captin charge for transferring your depository receipts to another broker?

No transfer fees will be charged for the first 12 months after listing (i.e. transferring depository receipts to another broker). After that, the fee will be EUR75.00.

 

What fees does Captin charge for transfers that do not result from transactions?
For depository receipt transfers not resulting from transactions, Captin charges the transferor €75 per transfer. Examples of transfers not resulting from a transaction include, without limitation, transfers on account of a gift, divorce or an inheritance.

 

What fees does Captin charge if you want to terminate the Agreement?

We do not charge you any fees for termination.
However, we do charge a fee for transferring your Triodos Depository Receipts to another broker (also in the event of termination).

 

What costs does Captin charge when there is a negative balance in your trading account?

Captin has the possibility to charge debit interest on a negative balance in the trading account. We determine the debit interest rate, which we will make available through our website and/or online platform.

 

Can Captin change the fees that it charges for transactions and/or use of the Captin platform?

Yes, Captin can change the fees and charges for transactions and/or use of the Captin platform. Captin may change such fees and charges for various reasons, including:

  • technological developments;
  • upgrades or changes to the features available on the Captin platform;
  • legislative changes (e.g. in laws and regulations)
  • changes in interpretation or application of the law or view of a regulator or other authority;
  • changes in the range of products and services offered by Captin or its (work) processes (such as modernisation, redesign or streamlining thereof); and
  • any other changes in a circumstance or view that makes Captin have a reasonable interest in the change.
